Saving and Spending
This animation is based off an infographic that shows the disparities between classes in post-World War I America. It utilizes isotype icons to communicate information about income, spending, debt, savings, and class size. The animation I created conveys this data by pulling out a singular person from the most upper and lower classes. I compare the individuals side by side, in order to show the extreme inequalities between income, spending, and savings. I also used other isotype icons in order to represent some of the goods and services these individuals might have purchased.
