The Corning Museam of Class

These posters were created for the Corning Museum of Glass as part of a class project. These posters represent why we still use glass as a container for perfume even though there are cheaper options available. Below you can see how glass is non pourous and does not leach into materials.

This project had a large role in building my graphic identity. I wanted to find a visual way to explain how glass is both non permeable and non porous, but I also had to compare it to other materials. The design started very rudimentary; I began sketching gradients of circles to represent varying degrees of permeability. I was also thinking about the shelf life of perfume so I sketched three evenly placed horizontal lines like shelves on top of this gradient. From here, I created a visual language and the designs took off from there.
